The Wölferlinger Weiher is located in the municipality Wölferlingen, between Wölferlingen and Langenhahn in the Verbandsgemeinde Selters. Since 1979 the Wölferlinger Weiher is an official nature reserve and belongs to the 7-Weiher-Weg in the Westerwald. Together with six other dams, created by Count Friedrich zu Wied in the 17th century, the Wölferlinger Weiher belongs to the protected landscape area Westerwald Lake District. The Wölferlinger Weiher is 1.02 hectares, is under protection and is known for its rare species of birds and plants.
