Villa Ca' Barbaro is a historic Renaissance building located in the town of the same name in the municipality of Baone, in the province of PaduaThe complex, erected on the slopes of the now almost disappeared Monte Buso, a modest hilly height almost completely eroded by the mining activity now occupied by the Blue Lake, and near the Bisatto Canal, used as a connection by the families of the Venetian hinterland with the capital, it is surrounded by vineyards and includes the Renaissance villa and the adjoining riding school. To cross the Bisatto Canal an ancient bridge with wrought iron gates. The canal is bordered by the splendid cycle path of the Euganean Hills.At the beginning of the 2000s, the villa lay in a state of semi-abandonment and was the object of attention of the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI), included in the list of Places of the Heart aimed at raising awareness of the recovery of the architectural heritage.
