Monti Bianchinu, together with Filigheddu, is a hill that overlooks Sassari to the north-west of the city, reaching a height of over 300 metres. It is characterized by scattered homes (mostly residential villas of a certain value, immersed in the greenery of meadows, olive groves and Mediterranean-type trees or scrub (holm oaks, mastic figs, myrtle, laurel, rosemary, prickly pear, blackthorn, blackberry ...) It is, however, totally devoid of services.
From the city you can reach it via a network of asphalted streets or narrow local roads, with some very steep sections: Monti Bianchinu local road, via Prunizzedda, via Luna e Sole, or SS127 (road to Osilo).
