Calpe (or Calp in Valencian) is a splendid coastal town in Spain located in the province of Alicante, in the heart of the renowned Costa Blanca. Once known as an old fishing village, it is today one of the most famous tourist destinations in the Valencian Community, famous for its wide fine sandy beaches, its fusion between modernity and archaeological remains, and the iconic rocky promontory that dominates the landscape.
