Cafeteria "'t Vloot" (3560 Lummen, Demerstraat 60) at the Schulensmeer
You should definitely stop here and reward yourself with a drink. Hiking trails. So many options here and in the area. Cycling, walking, picnicking, camping, sailing on the Schulensmeer... Parking for cyclists and cars. Lots of signs with information about the area, routes.... A place to be... very happy 😊

The Schulensmeer is located in the Schulensbroek nature reserve.
It is 2.8 km long, about 180 m wide and 5 to 7 m deep.
It is a distinct place for water recreation:
(kayaking, surfing, sailing, rowing, SUP...)
Hikers and fishermen can also go there.
The lake is known far abroad for its birdlife.
For many, the Schulensmeer above all means peace and quiet.
You quickly forget the hectic everyday life.
