The Prague Way is the normal route from the north and the easiest climb up Triglav. In addition to three insured passages, this easy via ferrata consists of many longer hiking routes. After turning off and crossing the mostly dry riverbed of the Bistrica, you will soon reach an insured gully (A) across a grassy terrace, through which you can reach a ribbon. Heading east you come to the next rock step at approx. 1700 m, the so-called “Prague” (threshold) (A/B). This key point consists of a wall about 15 m high, well secured with step pins and wire rope. The path goes up to the Kotel Kar via belts that are only insured in a few places (A), where the path joins the Tominškova Pot (Tominsek via ferrata). During the climb you will be rewarded with wonderful views of the Vrata Valley and the mountain ranges to the northwest and west as well as parts of the steep rock faces of the Triglav massif. In hot, sunny weather it is very advantageous that the path runs along the north face in the shade!
