Today this building has fallen into disrepair and nature has reclaimed its area in and around the building.
In 1920 the mill was converted into an electrical power plant by Count Kufstein. In the 1950s, the dam power plants were built by what was then NEWAG (now EVN). This changed the flow rate here at the turbines and the plant became unprofitable. In 1957, the Kufstein power plant was taken over by NEWAG and finally closed in the spring of 1958.
