Friedrichshagen is a former colonist village that the Prussian King Friedrich II had built in 1753 for one hundred families of cotton spinners from Silesia and Bohemia. You can still see some of the small colonist houses on Bölschestraße today. Right next to it are magnificent villas and multi-story residential buildings. This picturesque mix and the small shops and cafés make the street a very attractive place.

A middle-class promenade with many interesting shops, restaurants and cafes. Beautiful architecture. At the end of the street, a few hundred meters behind the former Berliner Bürgerbräu brewery, the beautiful Müggelsee begins.
