The Erpe or – as it is called above Hoppegarten – the Neuenhagen mill stream winds its way through Brandenburg and Berlin for 31 km. It often flows through meadows and open landscapes like that of the Erpe valley, a special feature because the Erpe valley is one of the few preserved river valleys in Berlin.
