Cape Planka forms the geographical and climatic dividing line between the northern and southern Adriatic. Here, on the one hand, the largest waves in the Adriatic break, and on the other hand, the sea is as calm as one can imagine, creating a breathtaking natural spectacle that no one should miss.
This cape has a great influence on the weather in Dalmatia, especially in Rogoznica, where due to its influence only 60 mm of rain falls per month during the three summer months, almost three times less than in the neighboring cities of Split and Šibenik.
