This bridge between Ennetbaden and Baden is very popular with pedestrians. The small bridge has had many names: Golden Hill Bridge or Finkensteg, because the politicians wore felt slippers at its opening in 1968. For over 60 years, the name Mercier Bridge has prevailed. Henry Marcier (1874-1962), a Geneva-born maser and historian who worked in spas, was named after him.

Down the river, on the left bank of the Limmat, is the Limmatquelle, which is a few meters away from the bridge. Worth seeing, recommended.
