This steep descent towards Castril is shown on the map as a gravel road, but in reality it is everything from concrete path to loose sand in one of the bends. Above all, the descent is a steep path down through a local orchard. Sounds daunting, but the path gives fantastic views of the village of Castril below and is well worth the walk if need be. Up I would definitely not recommend this.
