The green twin mill was built in 1856. In 1921 the master miller Gerhard Schoof bought this mill and operated it commercially until 1964 and for personal use until 1972. In the autumn of 1972 operations had to be stopped. A violent storm caused a broken blade and paralyzed the windmill.
