At the confluence of the Ohre and the Friedrich Canal you will find a nice picnic spot under the big oak trees on the island.

True, an oak is missing. There are now (3.2019) a picnic area with roof and alternative bike rack.

A charming part of the landscape in southern Drömling, where the Friedrichskanal flows into the Ohre, is known as the Deutsches Eck. In 1862 the owner of the Kunrau estate began to build moor dams.
