Stewart Canyon is a scenic 7.6 km easy hike between Lake Minnewanka and the Cascade River. The Stewart Canyon hike passes through lush forest and follows the Cascade River. The trail often runs high above the rushing river and offers excellent views of the gorge. The forest floor is covered with moss adorned with wildflowers. In June you can discover the soft purple looking calypso orchids.
