On the island of Ærø, the Danes cultivate a tradition-rich bathing culture. Almost 90 years ago, some islanders began to build colorful wooden huts on sandy headlands, originally to dress modestly in them. They have long been converted into "hyggeligen" - very cozy - weekend cottage. You can not buy them, they are passed on within the family. Kristian Kristensen owns the "Red Bathhouse" - a cabin that commits. Photos of the cottage are the postcard motif of the area and Kristian rents out the trinket for weddings. Before the season, however, he has to freshen it up a bit.
