Hiking

The Selterswasserhäuschen was built in 1914 as a kiosk during the workers' movement on the Höhenweg between Bensheim and the Felsberg above Elmshausen. Sweets, pastries and drinks were sold there. During and after the Second World War, demand collapsed due to a lack of customers, the kiosk was closed and fell into disrepair because no new tenant could be found. In 2000, the house was finally renovated. The dilapidated wooden structure of the roof was replaced. It still serves as a shelter for hikers today.
