The cycle path runs along eight towns in the province of Imperial: the small, picturesque Ligurian villages of San Lorenzo al Mare, Santo Stefano al Mare, and Riva Ligure; the coastal stretch with the towns of Cipressa and Costarainera; and the modern, popular resorts of Arma di Taggia, Ospedaletti, and Sanremo, the latter known for its casino and the many events held there since the beginning of last year. The route also passes through interesting places, old villages, and train stations. Everything is represented by simple symbols, similar to how you would read a subway map in a large city.

The newer 'end pieces' from SanRemo - Ospedaletti and San Lorenzo - Porto Maurizio still have the best surface. At the moment, however, the Taggia area around Arma is also being renovated, where some parts of it are more like an asphalt gravel route
