Hiking

The ruins of Anhalt Castle are located south of Quedlinburg in Selketal on the Großer Hausberg. A model of the castle Anhalt in 1:15 scale (modeled after Günther Beinert, Gerbstedt) is in Ballenstedt on Schlossplatz. It is extremely detailed, lovingly designed and with the Anhalt princely seat in the background a popular photo opportunity.
