With nearly 70 km², the Sachsenwald is today Schleswig-Holstein's largest contiguous forest area, through which the Bille, which is protected here, streams idyllically. Here in Aumühle, Prince Bismarck Wasser is won on the edge of the Sachsenwald from 120 meters depth on the Stormarner side of the Bille.
