Tips

  • The Hüvener Mühle is one of the last completely preserved combined wind and water mills in Europe and was first mentioned in a document in 1534. The area around the Hüvener Mühle, on the babbling Mittelradde, can be explored via the approximately 1.3 km long circular path with a nature trail and a natural biotope. Seating areas invite you to take a break or have a picnic at one of the most famous and beautiful sights in the Emsland. Another highlight at the Hüvener Mühle is the “outdoor classroom” built next to the biotope with seating made from boulders.
