The bridge has been open to pedestrians and cyclists again since July 2020. It's worth going over or driving over it once. In the middle there is the possibility to get to the Saale. From there you have a great view of the castles. It connects the city of Dornburg-Camburg with the Saale valley. It consists of three identical truss arches with a span of 41.6 meters each. It is named after Grand Duke Karl Alexander of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach.
