North Country National Scenic Trail traverses 4,800 miles across 8 states in the northern portion of the United States. It is the longest National Scenic Trail in the country. It is maintained by the National Parks Service and the Northern Country Trail Association.

This section of the trail travels over rolling hills and natural prairie as it moves through Sheyenne National Grassland.
