"A True West Jutland" is a sculpture by the artist Eigil Vestergård. It was unveiled in 1986. The sculpture was a gift from the employees of Ringkøbing Landbobank to the bank on its 100th anniversary.
The stone is made of sea gravel, and the sculpture depicts tools, animals, and plants that have had a special connection to the region over time.
The stone symbolizes a true "West Jutlander," as the people of Midwest Denmark are called—an honest, trustworthy, and fair person.
The rough surface symbolizes the often harsh nature of West Jutland.
