The nature reserve on the banks of Lake Constance (Bodman-Ludwigshafen) is a unique natural treasure on around 123 hectares. There are a large number of endangered plant and animal species that find their habitat in the Stockacher Aach river valley and along the shore of Lake Constance at the end of Lake Überlingen. This area is not only of great importance for the preservation of biodiversity, but also a landscape of particular beauty. It lies between the picturesque districts of Bodman, Ludwigshafen and Espasingen at an altitude of 400 m above sea level.
