Spring Heads is where two middle-of-the-moor tracks meet on Spaunton Moor. While the track is very wide and comfortable to walk, this is otherwise a wild moorland area, but what makes this place special is amazing views to the south to Lastingham. Looking south, the moorland seems to disappear, and the grassy slopes appear on the horizon.
