At the Ölbach are at several places remains of old weirs. They were always closed and the water dammed to flood adjacent meadows and fertilize the floors with suspended matter. "Meadow Rafting" was called the process. Only with the use of artificial fertilizer in the first half of the 20th century was the "meadow rafting" stopped.
