Caspar Trützschler had this mill built between 1591 and 1595 as a plank and cutting mill on the Göltzsch. A certain Thoß is named as the first miller in a purchase contract from 1595.
Converted into a grinding mill in 1786, it was acquired at this time by a miller and printer from Grünbach, who had the fabrics manufactured in Falkenstein printed. The people of Grünbach called the owner "Drucker" and that's how the name "Druckersmühle" came about.
