Road cycling
Small, idyllic village on Lake Neuchâtel. Here you should turn off the main road, the gentle cobblestone pavement is also good for racing bikes.
The village of Auvernier did not have its own place of worship before a chapel dedicated to Saint Nicholas was built in the village in 1478. Auvernier was attached to the parish of Colombier (until 1878). In 1598-99 the chapel received a tower and was extended to the north. Then, in 1709, the Temple of Auvernier benefited from a second extension towards the south.
