In contrast to many churches in the region, already in the 13./14. Built of fieldstone, this Protestant church was built in the 19th century from "modern" material. Inside it is rather simple, but what u.a. is an essential feature of Protestant churches.

The evangelical village church in Eggersdorf is a neo-Gothic hall church. A previous building probably existed as early as 1708. This was replaced in 1766 by a half-timbered building with a tower and a bell. During a fire on December 14, 1865, a fire destroyed the church.
