The Redrock Mountain Benchmark is a fair bit below the Redrock Mountain high point. The USGS geological marker is nestled in the bands of deep red rock and there is a summit register for you to sign. This seldom visited spot is difficult to get to and quite remote feeling at the top of Fish Canyon. You might need to do a little bushwacking and route finding, but this summit is getting more and more popular. A map and compass, and GPS if you own one, are still highly recommended. You are rewarded, however, with spectacular views that you're almost guaranteed to enjoy in solitude.
