At 62 meters high, the Fazantenheuvel is a wonderfully quiet viewpoint in Westouter. A beautiful place to step off the pedals during your bike or walking tour and enjoy the landscape.
At the orientation table, inaugurated in 2000, you will discover which hilltops lie on the horizon. You overlook the rolling flank of the Rodeberg, forests and fields, and in clear weather, even far beyond the French border, or as they say here: the schreve.
A small climb, a big view, and an ideal place to catch your breath!

From here you can observe about 30 villages in all directions with your binoculars using the orientation table.
From the Helleketelweg/Vuileseulestraat you turn into the Stoppelweg towards the Katteman, then take the unpaved path on your left.
