Municipal Museum in Seesen, like the city itself, the centrally located historic building of the ducal hunting lodge is embedded in greenery. The Municipal Museum Seesen offers a great insight into the development of Steinway & Sons. There is also the last (optional) stamp of the Steinway Trail here. I was greeted by a very friendly lady and given water as a welcome.
The museum offers a great insight into the history of Seesen. The opening times are:
Tuesday – Friday: 11.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m
Saturday and Sunday: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m
and by appointment
