A wooden church in folk baroque style with a bell tower in 1703. Carmelite monks began to build. For 60 years, the local residents, the Reformed, opposed the Carmelites, so the church was not completed until 1766. The church is cross-plan, trinave, two towers. Symmetrical chapels and sacristy rooms were later added to the apse on both sides. The volumes of the church, as well as the adjacent belfry, are tall and massive, creating a calm and monumental silhouette. Inside are preserved 18th century. altars of the second half and valuable St. Joseph and St. The paintings of Mary with the baby with decorations, the walls and ceilings are decoratively polychrome, which perfectly matched the retabules of the side altars painted on boards, which, unfortunately, have not survived to this day. in 1963 St. Joseph's Church was closed and turned into a warehouse. in 1991 the church was restored and returned to the faithful. The 300th anniversary of the church and the 1000th anniversary of the name of Lithuania were commemorated by the sculpture "Angel" built and consecrated in the churchyard. September 27 this sculpture was consecrated. Its author is the folk artist Julius Urbonavičius from Kedai. From now on, the sculpture will protect this sanctuary from all calamities.
