This mountain tends to have cornicing/avalanche hazard lingering until midsummer. Once the snow has melted away, it's a great training hike with wonderful views of neighboring peaks, and nothing harder than a class 2 scramble to the summit. In the fall, it's a great lookout for taking in the bright-blazing leaves of larch trees on nearby slopes.
