Zhangshan Park (中山公园) was built by the British in 1914 and was originally named Zhaofeng Park. Today it is an oasis between residential buildings and office towers.
It is popular throughout the day, but in particular during the morning hours on a weekend you will find many people singing, dancing, playing instruments, etc. The park offers some large lawns, small gardens, kids playground, running track and more.
