Palace of St. Michael & St. Georgios is now home to the Museum of Asian Art. The museum has a great colonnade at the front, facing the street, for nice photo moments.
Immediately east of it is a freely accessible and worth seeing green space, the MttOokéTto Park.

The Palace of St. Michael and St. George is an impressive historical building in the old town of Corfu, close to the Old Fortress and the sea.
It was originally built in the early 18th century to serve as the residence of the then Governor of the Ionian Islands, High Commissioner Sir Thomas Maitlаnd. It was also the home of the Order of St. Michael and St. George and thus it received its name. It later served as the royal residence of the Greek King until 1967.
Today the palace is open to visitors. Inside there is the Museum of Asian Art (the only one of its kind in Greece) and an art gallery that shows exhibitions from all over the world. The Museum of Asian Art surprises with more than 11,000 objects from Chinese, Korean, Indian and Spanish culture, including paintings, sculptures, porcelain, contemporary Chinese pottery, etc. The museum is open daily except Mondays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The original furniture and interior of the palace have been preserved, and the well-kept garden invites you to stroll and take photographs.
