The defense embankment of Rėkučiai, Pavajuonis dates back to the 12th-13th century. The defensive fortification consists of a rampart and a ditch in front of it. The embankment is up to 1.1 meters high and 5 meters wide at the base. A ditch about 5 meters wide was dug in front of the embankment. The embankment is about 830 meters long (with a 70 meter long section demolished by the railway).

It is a defensive embankment about 830 meters long and 1 meter high, with a 5-meter-wide ditch dug in front of it. The fortification starts at the swampy bay of Lake Žeimenis, goes uphill and continues through the forest to the meadows near Lake Vajuonis. The embankment was used in the 12th - 13th centuries, then a barrier made of pine logs stood on it.
