Dramatic theater. I. Chavchavadze: The year it was founded is considered to be 1912. Although at that time only seasonal troupes were on stage. The permanent team was formed in 1937. It consisted mainly of graduates of the Adjarian Studio of the Tbilisi Theater. It flourished in the 60s and 70s. Over the history of the theater, performances have alternated: world classics went hand in hand with performances based on the works of local authors.
