The remains of the wall refer to a facility used in ore mining. The Pochwerk and related plants were used for crushing and separation (potting) of rock and ore. Due to lack of water, the operation was relocated to the Wied in the 19th century, but the buildings until the 50s (20th century) as a recreation used.
