The Königsmühle - district of Stolzenhain
Between the Stolzenhainer hill and the toll road is the dilapidated settlement Königsmühle, to which once belonged 7 houses. The approximately 1.5 km long path from Stolzenhain is adorned with gnarled "mountain birch trees" (rowan) and numerous blackberry hops. Together with the partly 3 m deep ravine and the chirping of the birds they convey a (in) secret mood, as the first ruins appear. What fate has befell the former 53 inhabitants of these houses and what has become of them?
By researching under old Proudhainern the following could be learned. The 5 houses are the homes of the Fohrmann families (back left), Siegel (back right), Giebert (middle left), Pöschl (center right) and Siegel (front right) source oberwiesenthal.com
