Was one of 7 Klausen with which the harvested wood was drummed up to Reichraming. The "Big Klause" was the central drifting system, at this approx. 3 meter wide narrow point of the brook. In 1937 the last trunks drifted from here, after that the wood was only transported by the forest railway.
