Hiking
A castle from the 13th or 14th century once stood on the ledge, which was rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau after 1547. Destroyed by the Swedes during the Thirty Years' War, the building fell into disrepair and was used as a salt store. In the 1850s, today's stately building, a school, was built on the foundations of the former castle. The Podkrkonoší Museum has been located here since 1927.
