This reformed church was built in 1671 and 1674. There was fire damage in 1924 and war damage in 1945. It was restored after 1945 and you can still find this church today.

Burgh Church, also known as “Hervormde Kerk Haamstede”, is a historic place of worship with origins in the early Middle Ages. Services have been held in the region since the 8th century, originally in a wooden building. The current stone structure dates from 1506 and is part of the Protestant parish. Inside the church is an organ that dates from 1987 and reuses elements of an older organ.

The church is an important cultural hub in Burgh-Haamstede and offers regular services and children's programs. Haamstede Castle is located directly opposite, making the church part of the historic village center.
