The railway station in Bolęcin is a junction, located on the line from Trzebinia to Wadowice. This single-track route was joined by a railway line from Jaworzno Szczakowa, later shortened to Chrzanów. It existed and flourished until the 1990s, when the line was electrified. At that time, it was built new platform. Unfortunately, in 2002 passenger services were suspended - earlier, after less than 10 years (!) After electrification, the line to Płaza was closed. After the liquidation of transport, the rapid decline of the station began, which was closed for technical needs. Before it was closed, it had 5 main tracks and two signal boxes with key devices. Two sidings also branched off in the northern part of the station.
