(...) the river flowing through the town is particularly attractive - Osława, one of the cleanest rivers in Poland, a left-bank tributary of the San, flowing into it near Zagórze. The stony bottom, very nice small cascades, grassy banks are conducive to recreation. The shallows allow children to play safely, and deeper places, called here badunias, attract bathing enthusiasts. (...) The purity of the water makes the Osława, like other rivers in the region, a real paradise for anglers. In the spring, you can observe spawning going up the river - a phenomenon unique in the country. Rocks and gorges add even more charm to Osława. Resting on its shores is one of the best ways to spend your free time. Despite the fact that it is a mountain river, the water has an exceptionally high temperature in the summer - perhaps this is due to the huge rock slabs lying on the bottom, and also - especially in Zagórz itself - the already quite slow current.
