The bridge was built using the spans of the dismantled bridge from Kraków. Five spans built in 1988 from the bridge over the Vistula River from the modernized Krakow cross-city line between Kraków Główny and Kraków Płaszów stations have been delivered to Zagórz. They replaced the worn-out structure on the bridge over the San river in Zagórze along the railway line No. 108 Stróże - Krościenko.
