In the middle of the artists' village of Laag-Keppel is a neo-gothic church, which was built around 1880 as an ecclesiastical facility at the nearby castle. Galerie 1880 has been located here since 1987. The gallery here presents a large collection of modern art. In 2018 the monument will be restored and transformed into one of Achterhoek's most beautiful galleries.
