The Sainte-Radegonde-et-Saint-Sébastien Church replaces the old chapel of the priory of Boussay which existed from the year 1100. Rebuilt in 1667, it was burnt down during the Revolution and then restored in 1820. Too small, the chapel was rebuilt in 1872. Its stained glass windows and frescoes retrace the story of Saint Radegonde, the wife of the Merovingian king Clotaire. The latter was the murderer of his brother, which led to the flight of the queen. Having become a nun, she founded the Sainte-Croix abbey in Poitiers. Boussay was part of the lands bequeathed to him by the king. Its frescoes were made by Loue. They also represent Our Lady of Lourdes, Saint Sebastian, Saint Geneviève and Saint Blandine.
