Dronning Alexandrines Bro (German Queen Alexandrine Bridge), also called Mønbroen or Ulvsundbroen, is a 745.50 meter long bridge that crosses Ulvsund and connects the Danish islands of Møn and Zealand. The structure, named after the Danish Queen Alexandrine, was opened in 1943 and has since been considered "Denmark's most beautiful bridge". The bridge was designed by Anker Engelund (1889-1961), civil engineer, professor and rector of the Copenhagen Polytechnic School from 1941 to 1959. He created a classic arch bridge, the superstructure of which is supported by a large steel arch in the middle and ten iron arches below the roadway.
